Simple & Clean —
Timeless yet Untraditional in South Carolina
This Simple & Clean kitchen is a fun departure from the norm of what we often see from this line, which is white shaker-style cabinetry. Designer Hope Vanzant of HMS Designs in Fayetteville, Georgia, said her clients wanted a timeless look that was a little nontraditional. So they decided on the Gilbert door style in Willow, which is a gorgeous, creamy, light beige color, and they used the textured Marcel door on the deep drawers and cabinets of the island. Adding a bold granite countertop and unique caged light fixture over the oversized square island put the final touches on this distinctive kitchen.
Added Dimension
Our classic Gilbert door style painted Willow was used in this unique Georgia kitchen. A stainless steel apron-front sink and bold granite add dimension, while gunmetal hardware brings an industrial feel to the space.
Mixing Textures
The Marcel door style was used to add beadboard texture on the extra-deep drawers and cabinets of the oversized island.
Functional Extras
Built-in cutlery and utensil dividers are an added bonus feature of soft-close drawers.
Options for Display
Seeded glass was used on the upper cabinets that frame the over-sink window. It allows for the homeowners to showcase their simply classic white dinnerware.
Customized Touches
Custom slide outs in lower cabinets make the storage of items like cookie sheets and baking racks an organizer’s dream.
